Yes! You are in the right place!
Though my brick and mortar store
in Cambria is now closed, I love being able to stay in touch with you with this little section on my website!
These photos above feature two of my favorite "first Fall" items! Before Autumn really
kicks in, you can usually find beautiful sunflowers at the Farmer's Market and candy corn starts popping up in the grocery
store. Kind of gets us in the mood for even better signs of Fall to come! The third photo is of a little doll bench that hangs
on my living room wall with part of my collection of miniature books. I love these little books! Most are Victorian and in
order to qualify as a miniature book it must measure no more than 3" x 3"...but I sometimes fudge a little if it
is one I can't resist!
My display case in the new Rich Man Poor
Man Antique Mall in CAMBRIA continues to be not only successful, but a
fun way to "play store" in a small way. You knew that I
couldn't stay away! Right now my case is celebrating Fall with a nod to travel. You'll
find old suitcases, vintage collector cruise ship models, airline models and some great old travel posters. There are
also a few souvenir items from some trips taken years ago. These are from a travel agency in Bakersfield called Lamborne Travel
and have been stored in the back room for years and have just been discovered as they prepare to move to a new office! The
mall is at 2110 Main Street and is open 7 days a week except Christmas from 10-5. I am off
to do more shopping this weekend and will continue to look for exciting, wonderful things to add to my case throughout
the year. I plan to change it regularly--just like my little store used to change (guess I get bored easily.) Hope you will
be able to stop by and check it out soon~just ask for Bonnie's case.
NEW is in to Morro Bay! Sweet Offerings, in Cambria, is expanding and opening a new store in Morro
Bay! It is just two doors down from the Bay Theater on Morro Bay Blvd. and will offer Artisan Fudge made right there
by Ericka, Handmade Chocolates made by their own chocolatier, Jan Lewis, a variety of special candies and Doc Bernstein's
Ice Cream! How can it get any better than that??! It will be open 7 days a week from 11 until 9. I am working there part time
and love it!! Stop by for a sweet treat after the movies and say hello!
For some reason ( will figure this website thing out one of these days) I cannot get
more of the pics to show up, so I will try to add them in a link below. Cross your fingers that it will work!
Today and every day, let's count our blessings and take stock of all the ways that our friends
and families enrich our lives. I count you among my blessings and so appreciate you taking the time to visit my website, shows
and other activities in this antiquing world of ours!
