 Shipping, Privacy & Other Policies Shipping Your satisfaction is most important to us, so we pack everything ourselves. If you purchase multiple items, you may receive more than one package. When possible, we will combine in one package to save shipping costs. Any excess fee will be refunded. Our items are shipped via UPS or Priority Mail, depending on size and weight restrictions. Our shipping and processing charges are intended to compensate Birds of a Feather for the time and costs of processing your order, handling and packing the products you purchase and delivering them to you. Shipping rates are
for addresses within the Continental US only. All others, including Alaska and Hawaii may have slightly higher shipping charges.
In the event there are additional shipping fees, you will be notified and invoiced before your package is shipped. We will
combine shipping for multiple items to reduce fees when possible, and will refund and excess fees collected. Shipping is
only available in the 50 United States. We love to make things pretty; however, we also love keeping our planet pretty. At times we may use recycled boxes to ship your items.
Be assured that for the safety of your purchases, only boxes whose shipping integrity remains intact are reused. We'd love
for you to recycle the tissue, bubble wrap, etc. We will ship your items as quickly as possible, but please allow sufficient time for items to be properly boxed for shipping. Payment Policy We accept payment only via Paypal, American Express, Visa and Master Card. We will reserve items purchased for five days. If payment is not received within 5 days of order, your purchase will be returned to inventory. Because most of our inventory consists of one of a kind items, demand can be high. Should your payment be delayed beyond the 5 day grace period, it may be sold to the next interested buyer. The best way to pay for your item is via PayPal as indicated above. Please be sure to print a copy of your checkout invoice for reference. Sales Tax California residents must pay sales tax of 7.75% of purchase price or provide us with a copy of a valid resale certificate. Returns We try to describe all pieces accurately and to point out any "flaws". Our antique and vintage items are time worn, sometimes shabby and have those lovely dings, scratches and other wear marks that make them truly well-loved. We rarely sell "perfect" antiques. By their very nature, they are worn and flawed. All sales are final. Please email any questions or concerns about an item prior to making your purchase. We're happy to assist you with your selection! We want you to be satisfied and pleased with your purchase. Please read the item descriptions and measurements provided or emailed to you in answer to your questions before making a purchase. Special Order Items are always non-returnable, as we order these pieces just for you. In the unlikely event that your item is received damaged from the shipper, please notify us within 48 hours of receipt. Please keep all packaging and boxing materials.
